We got great news from the pediatrician at Schuyler's two-week check-up. She weighed in at 5 pounds 10 ounces which is up three ounces from her initial birth weight and eight ounces from the week before. (She had lost a lot of weight at the hospital due in large part to the jaundice and even dipped under five pounds at one point.) We are such dorky parents - we high-fived each other as soon as the nurse announced her weight! To celebrate, we got Starbucks and went to our friend Greg's house for a cook-out and to watch some of the basketball games. It was nice for Mom and S to get out of the house for a little while even though S slept most of the time!
