My mom was here for two weeks to take care of Schuyler while I went back to work She was awesome! Thanks, Mom - we loved having you here!

Captain Dad

Todd's last drill weekend was this month It's hard to believe that he spent ten years in the National guard Schuyler and I, along with all his family and friends, are so proud of his service He did an outstanding job I am grateful to be married to someone so committed to his country and his ideals Still, I have to confess, Schuyler and I are so glad he's finally out! We surprised him with a little party to celebrate!

First Mother's Day

My first Mother's Day weekend was very memorable Todd surprised me by taking me out to a nice dinner on Friday night while DD watched Schuyler Then, on Saturday, I surprised my Mom with a day trip down to New York City Todd spent the day with Schuyler He put Ms S in her Baby Bjourn and they went to the town's garden club event Mom and I had a great time, but I would have loved to see the two of them at that event! Finally, on Sunday, my sweet husband made us pancakes and gave me two cards - one from him and one from Schuyler Later, I was surprised with the patio furniture that I had been wanting What a luck girl I am to have such a beautiful daughter, sweet husband, and a wonderful, supportive Mom and mother-in-law!

Bathtime Fun

Nine pounds, baby!

Schuyler had her two-month check-up last week. She weighed 9 pounds and one ounce and was 21.5 inches long! We couldn't believe it! The rest of the appointment went really well except for her first set of shots. I don't know who took it worse - Schuyler or her grandma.

Schuyler has become really alert this past week and a half. She is smiling and occasionally making goo sounds. She loves her activity gym and listening to music, particularly the Symphony Hall channel on XM radio. She also did a complete 180 and now really enjoys bathtime!
